Domo Izakaya: Trendy Ramen and Sushi Experience in Destin, FL

My boyfriend brought me here for the first time tonight, and omg if I could give 10 stars I would. The atmosphere was calm and peacful. Small building but definitely nice and thoughtfully laid out. Our server was absolutely the best. He was informative and patient. Now lets talk food, I will dream about the Edamame and the DOMO bun until the end of time. Soooo good. The sushi roll we ordered was delicious. Now, the ramen.... hands down some of the best ramen to ever touch my tongue. I even kidnapped a few bites of my boyfriends as well. The portions are huge so we have enough to take home and enjoy a late night meal. Will force my boyfriend to bring me back very very soon.

Had lunch here with my family and we had a wonderful experience. The staff was very accommodating, we requested specific food for our baby and they gladly prepared it for us, which we really appreciated. The food was delicious! The curry katsu was flavorful and perfectly cooked, the Nagasaki ramen was amazing, and the lunch box was great as well. It’s a cozy restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We’ll definitely be coming back!

First time at Domo Izakaya and we were very impressed. Despite being busy, the staff were consistently friendly, smiling, and efficient. We even came back again before heading back to Tennessee — and we will definitely return on our next trip. Great atmosphere, baby-friendly, and most beers are only $5. A must-visit in Destin.

It was our last night in Destin, and we chose Domo Izakaya for dinner after exploring the area. We found parking easily, and upon entering, the restaurant's ambiance was very positive. We were seated at our tables and greeted by the server, Jazz, who brought us the menus. After reviewing the menu, we ordered Edamame, Karaage Chicken, Thai Tea, Deja Vu Roll, Domo Roll, Avocado Roll, Alaskan Roll and DOMO Chicken Ramen. Our order included Thai Tea, Edamame, and Karaage Chicken. The Thai Tea was a refreshing start to our dinner, and the Karaage Chicken was delicious, easily one of the best we've had. We got the rest of the rolls Deja Vu Roll, the Avocado Roll, and the Alaskan Roll. The sushi rolls were delicious - everyone in our group really enjoyed them. We got DOMO Chicken Ramen and Domo Roll. The ramen was delicious and well-prepared with chicken. The Domo Roll was a highlight of the night and one of the best sushi rolls we've had. After dinner, we ordered the Yuzu Creme Brulee, and it arrived in just 10 minutes. It was delicious, and the cherry on top made for a perfect ending to our delightful meal at Domo Izakaya.

i haven't had ramen since i lived in belgrano near barrio chino but this was just like that. it was soooo good. i mean, read the other reviews. great service as well. domo black ramen was outstanding

The service was amazing and I really loved the atmosphere here. I had purchased the California roll, the goku ramen, and steamed dumplings. The sushi was ok, I actually bit into a few very hard pieces of rice, that hurt my teeth afterwards. The ramen was really good, and the pot stickers were also very good. My only complaint was the hard rice from the sushi, other than that it was a nice place with friendly service.

Craving sushi on vacation and Google took us to this joint. We came around 4:30 so it was not busy at all, got to sit and order food right away. The Ramen looks great on the menu but I ended up getting the Dan Dan and it was delicious!! I especially love the egg yolk idea; totally took the flavor up a notch We also got a sushi deluxe or dinner and the portion was generous, the fish is fresh and the roll is yummy If I had nitpick, our server gave us the check while we were only half way eating … maybe cause the line started to build up and she wanted to make sure we don’t wait around waiting for the check at the end ..

Very much enjoyed dinner here! The cucumber kimchi was delicious. The hot tea was very good and hot! The amount of sushi rolls they offer was impressive for the size of the restaurant. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Biggest draw back for food was the size of the sushi rolls. It was very large and hard to get the whole bite into my mouth. The setting was very open and noise level wasn’t bad. Would eat here again but would def try the ramen next time. It’s a great spot for a social dinner. Nothing was as spicy as I’d expected for having ordered spicy dishes.
